We all met bright and early on a horrible Friday morning, but our spirits were not dampened by the weather to have a another good productive meeting. Several success stories from members kicked the meeting off with some interesting work being undertaken or recently completed. Petros reviewed the morning papers with an interesting topic regarding a local amateur dramatics group who shocked their audience so much by the realism of their performace. Good to see some local services are not being axed!
Some of the group followed with their 60 second commercials where members explain what they do, who they want to do business with or ask to be introduced to a certain individual, company or organisation that a fellow membe rmay know.
Another superb breakfast was enjoyed over further conversation and the meeting resumed to conclude the 60 second slots.
A discussion ensued regarding the poition of the Chairman and Vice and that it was time for them both to step down and some new blood take the helm. Some of us thought this a long time ago! A vote will take place but 2 members put themselves forward for the roles, Alan varley and Sandra Mashiter and we wish them well in their new roles.
The meeting closed with AOB and some one-2-ones took place after the meeting.
Role on this weeks meeting, cant wait!
